Photo Challenge

On Friday our learners were set a photography challenge: to take 3 photos using the word ‘Metal’ as inspiration in the 30 minutes. It was an opportunity for our learners to express themselves creatively and explore their surroundings with fresh, imaginative eyes. Fantastically fun, hugely successful results and all shot on phones!
Here are the results, and let us know what you think!

Our learners smell gorgeous for 2016!

Our learners were treated by Tesco for Christmas 2015, all received a beautifully wrapped present of toiletries.  The gifts were part of a donation programme Tesco had been running in store on the lead up to Christmas, so a huge thank you also goes to the residents and customers of Tesco in Hook!

Cutlery & crockery: the tools of life.

We’re very luck to have kind and generous supporters who donate the small but important everyday things, such as these plates and cutlery from the Aldershot Parachute Regiment. Thank you!

The Parachute Regiment is not the only kind supporter we have. In fact, recently, we’ve been pretty much inundated with donations. These include:
Michael Chalmers for donating fishing and outdoor kit. We hope to get these in use when the weather gets better!
Carol Herring for organising the donation of a superbly loud drum kit but mostly to the chap who donated them whose name I have forgotten but is clearly brilliant. Keep on rocking.
And lastly, Rohan Gift Your Gear for some high-quality clothing that will go brilliantly with Mr Chalmers’ camping equipment.
Thank you all!
